Online card draw platforms compared in 2026: unravel, JTCC, Clove, TCG JAPAN, and DOPA

This guide compares five online card draw platforms commonly used by Taiwan players, covering shipping origin, fees, customs, delivery times, returns, point expiration, odds disclosure, and graded card labels. Every comparison uses official website information, checked on 2026-09-16.

How to read this comparison

Four of the five platforms ship from Japan, while one ships domestically within Taiwan. For shipments from Japan, the main differences are who pays shipping, who pays customs, and how long delivery takes. For domestic shipping, pool quantity and selection are the main trade-offs. The figures below are official published information, not our ratings.

Online card draws here mean draws for physical trading cards, not online tarot readings or mobile-game gacha.

Shipping origin and pricing currency

unravel: domestic Taiwan shipping via Black Cat, priced in New Taiwan dollars. JTCC: direct DHL shipping from Japan; top-ups are shown in NT$, while draws use coins (1 coin = ¥1). Clove: ships from Japan and uses pt (1pt = ¥1). TCG JAPAN: ships from Japan, switching to FedEx, and uses pt. DOPA: shipping origin is not specified; all payments are settled in US dollars and converted by the card issuer.

Shipping fees

unravel: free for 5 or more cards per shipment; otherwise, the shipping page’s fee applies. JTCC: free to Taiwan, but cards must total at least 3,000pt to request shipping. Clove: a 1,500pt service fee below 10,000pt in total point exchange value, free at 10,000pt or more. TCG JAPAN: 2,000pt per card. DOPA: fees depend on the shipped cards’ total point value; free at 10,000 points or more, and a 2,000-point fee below 1,000 points.

Customs and clearance

unravel: domestic shipping, with no import duties or customs identity verification. JTCC: DDP, with customs duties, import taxes, and 5% business tax paid by the company; recipients must verify through EZ WAY. Clove: recipients pay and need EZ WAY. TCG JAPAN: Store terms say the company pays customs, but oripa does not explicitly state this. DOPA: recipients pay; DOPA does not collect the charges.

Delivery times

unravel: dispatches within 2 business days after confirmation, with Black Cat delivery. JTCC: usually dispatches within 5 business days of a request, then DHL takes about 1–3 business days. Clove: 1–7 business days for processing, then 5–9 days to Taiwan. TCG JAPAN: about 3 weeks. DOPA: dispatches about 1–2 weeks after a request, then delivery takes about 1–15 business days.

Returns and refunds

All five platforms make draw results nonrefundable and nonexchangeable. Handling physical-card issues differs: unravel accepts reports of incorrect cards or shipping damage within 7 days of receipt. JTCC accepts unopened returns within 7 days, with shipping and customs paid by the customer and refunds in coins. Clove’s FAQ says contact support within 7 days, but its legal disclosure says 3. TCG JAPAN does not accept returns or exchanges. DOPA accepts reshipment or replacement requests within 7 days with photos or an unboxing video.

Point expiration and card storage

unravel: purchased points last 1 year, reset on another top-up; reward points last 180 days; cards are stored for 90 days. JTCC: coins last 6 months. Clove: terms say 180 days, another page says 365, so the statements differ; cards are stored for 30 days. TCG JAPAN: terms say 90 days, the app says 6 months; choose shipping or point exchange for won cards within 180 days. DOPA: the help center says no point expiration, but its legal disclosure says 6 months; cards are held for 10 days.

How odds and remaining counts are disclosed

unravel: total entries, prize quantities, and remaining entries update with every draw. JTCC: tier distribution rates are theoretical values at launch; individual prize remaining counts are not shown. Clove: shows remaining and total entries, tier items and quantities, and overall return rate; odds are based on launch values. TCG JAPAN: shows per-card win rates and included quantities, but explicitly does not show current individual prize counts. DOPA: explicitly states displayed quantities are launch totals, not live remaining counts.

Graded card labels

unravel: prize pages show the grading company and grade, based on the grader’s assessment and encapsulation. JTCC: PSA10 badges and card-name prefixes. Clove: “graded item” and “graded card (PSA 10)” labels; grading services include PSA and its own CGS. TCG JAPAN: Store separates PSA10 and Condition A; oripa names show rarity only. DOPA: PSA10 is marked as PSA-certified, and ungraded cards are promised in Lightly Played condition or better.

Three questions for choosing a platform

First, do you want to handle customs? If not, choose domestic shipping or a DDP platform. Second, do you check remaining counts before drawing? If so, choose a platform that updates them live. Third, how long will you keep your points? For longer storage, look for a longer validity period. Your answers guide the choice; no platform is best in every category.

Local Taiwanese online Ichiban Kuji services such as Shangfantian, Dopamine Ichiban Kuji, and Wandefeng draw figures and merchandise rather than cards, so they are outside this comparison.
