Chapter 1 General Provisions
Article 1 (Application)
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are established by Global Truth Machines Corporation (the "Company") and apply to the card draw platform "unravel" operated by the Company, including its website, mobile applications and other related services (collectively, the "Service").
By registering an account, purchasing points or otherwise using the Service, you are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to all of these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the Service.
Rules and notices separately announced by the Company for particular events, pools or features ("Specific Rules") form part of these Terms. If Specific Rules conflict with these Terms, the Specific Rules prevail unless they expressly state otherwise.
Article 2 (Definitions)
The following definitions apply:
"User": a person who completes registration and uses the Service under these Terms.
"Account": the dedicated access credentials registered by a User to use the Service.
"Points": virtual units issued by the Company for use solely within the Service, consisting of "Purchased Points" (acquired in exchange for cash or an equivalent payment method) and "Reward Points" (provided free of charge for marketing, compensation or other reasons).
"Pool": a prize pool listed by the Company on the Service for Users to draw from, containing a fixed number of draw opportunities.
"Entry": the counting unit for draw opportunities in a single Pool. Draws are made without replacement: each Entry drawn is removed from the Pool and is not replenished.
"Draw": a User's consumption of Points to obtain the prize corresponding to a randomly selected Entry in a Pool.
"Last Prize": an additional special prize awarded to the User who draws the last Entry in a Pool, if that Pool offers one.
"Collection": the virtual space within the Service where a User's awarded cards are held.
"Recycling (Melting)": the feature that converts cards in the Collection into Reward Points.
"Physical Card": the physical trading card product corresponding to a Draw result, held by the Company and available for shipment at the User's request.
Article 3 (Amendments)
The Company may amend these Terms as necessary. Amendments will be announced on the Service website and notified through in-service notices, email or other appropriate means. Material changes, such as changes to charges, refund policies or significant restrictions on User rights, will be announced at least 7 days before taking effect.
Continued use after the amended Terms take effect constitutes agreement to them. Users who disagree may terminate use and delete their Accounts under Article 24.
Chapter 2 Accounts
Article 4 (Eligibility)
Only natural persons aged 18 or older with full legal capacity may register for and use the Service. Persons under 18 may not register, purchase Points or make Draws.
Users must provide accurate, current and complete registration information and promptly update it when it changes. The Company may refuse registration, suspend use or delete an Account for false registration information, impersonation or misrepresentation of age. Purchased Points and Draw results will not be returned or compensated in those cases.
The Company may require verification by mobile phone number, email or other means. Where necessary, including for high-value transactions, shipping, fraud prevention or anti-money laundering, it may require identity documents. The Company may suspend relevant features if the User does not cooperate.
The Company may refuse registration or subsequently revoke it without providing reasons if: (1) the applicant was previously suspended or had an Account deleted for violating these Terms; (2) registration information is false; or (3) the Company otherwise reasonably considers the applicant unsuitable to use the Service.
Article 5 (Account Management)
Accounts are for the registered User alone, limited to one Account per person. Transfer, lending, rental, sharing or otherwise allowing a third party to use an Account is prohibited.
Users must safeguard their Accounts, passwords and authentication methods. All actions through an Account, including Point purchases, Draws, Recycling and shipment requests, are deemed the User's actions and are the User's responsibility.
Users must notify the Company immediately upon discovering Account theft or security concerns. The Company is not liable for losses incurred before receiving notice, except where caused by its intent or negligence.
Article 6 (Suspension and Deletion)
The Company may, without prior notice, suspend or terminate all or part of Account access or delete the Account if the User:
Violates these Terms or Specific Rules;
Registers multiple Accounts or shares an Account;
Improperly obtains or uses Points or prizes;
Commits fraud, threats, harassment or other unlawful acts against the Company or other Users;
Has a payment reversed or charged back by a card issuer or payment institution without a valid reason;
Has no login record for 24 consecutive months;
Or otherwise presents circumstances in which the Company reasonably considers suspension necessary.
Following suspension or deletion under the preceding paragraph, Points, Collection cards and other rights will be handled as follows: where caused by the User's breach, the Company may decline return or compensation; where not attributable to the User, the Company will offer reasonable arrangements, such as a deadline for requesting shipment.
Users may request Account deletion at any time. Before doing so, they must complete shipment or Recycling of cards in the Collection. After deletion, remaining Points and rights in unhandled cards are extinguished, without return or compensation, except where return is required by law.
Chapter 3 Points
Article 7 (Purchases)
Users may purchase Points through payment methods designated by the Company, including credit cards (payment services provided by Stripe), stablecoins (payment services provided by Allscale) and in-app purchases (Apple App Store and Google Play). Prices, plans and offers for each payment channel are as shown on the purchase page.
Points are priced in New Taiwan Dollars (NTD). For stablecoin payments, the actual payment amount is converted at the exchange rate shown on the payment page at the time of purchase. For purchases through Apple App Store, Google Play or other app platforms, the actual charge and currency follow the platform's rules.
Points are issued after payment is completed and confirmed by the Company's system. If issuance is delayed by a payment institution or blockchain network processing, the Company will issue the Points promptly after confirmation.
Users must use payment instruments in their own name, including wallets they lawfully hold. Disputes arising from using another person's payment instrument are the User's responsibility. The Company may seek compensation for any resulting loss it suffers.
Special terms for stablecoin payments:
Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed once confirmed by the network. Before sending a payment, Users must verify the amount, currency and blockchain network. The Company is not responsible for returning losses caused by erroneous transfers, selecting the wrong network or sending to an incorrect address, but will provide reasonable assistance with inquiries;
Users must comply with laws concerning virtual assets in their jurisdiction and cooperate with identity verification or source-of-funds reviews conducted by the Company or Allscale under anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing requirements;
The Company does not provide any virtual asset trading, exchange, custody or investment services. Stablecoins are used solely as a payment method for purchasing Points.
Article 8 (Nature and Restrictions)
Points may be used only for Draws and other purposes designated by the Company within the Service. They cannot be exchanged for cash or virtual assets, transferred, lent, pledged, traded with other Users or circulated outside the Service.
Points are not electronic payment account funds, stored-value card balances, virtual assets, investments or deposits, and do not accrue interest.
Conditions for obtaining Reward Points, their usage order and restrictions follow Company announcements. In principle, Reward Points are deducted before Purchased Points, unless otherwise announced by the Company.
The Company may set reasonable limits on Point purchase amounts, Point holdings or usage frequency for individual Accounts to maintain transaction security and prevent unlawful conduct.
Article 9 (Validity)
Purchased Points are valid for 1 year from issuance. If more Points are purchased within the validity period, the validity of all Purchased Points in the Account restarts from the date the newly purchased Points are issued.
Reward Points follow the validity period announced for each campaign. If none is announced, they are valid for 180 days from issuance.
Points with the earlier expiration date are deducted first. Unused Points expire at the end of their validity period without return or compensation. The Company will remind Users through an in-service notice or email 30 days before their Purchased Points expire.
Article 10 (No Refunds)
Once purchased, Points are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or virtual assets, except in the circumstances listed in paragraph 2 of this Article.
The Company will provide a refund or compensation as required by law or the circumstances if:
A cause attributable to the Company results in duplicate charges, overcharging or abnormal Point issuance due to system errors;
The entire Service terminates and Purchased Points can no longer be used, as provided in Article 25;
Or a refund is required under Taiwan's Consumer Protection Act or other mandatory rules.
Refunds under the preceding paragraph are limited to the actual amount paid for unused Purchased Points; Reward Points are excluded. Refunds generally use the original payment channel. If returning a stablecoin payment through the original channel is difficult, the Company may refund to a wallet address designated by the User or use another reasonable method of equivalent value. Purchases through third-party app stores follow those stores' refund policies, and the Company cannot intervene directly.
Chapter 4 Draw Services
Article 11 (Mechanism and Disclosures)
Draws use a fixed number of Entries without replacement. Each Pool's total Entries, prize contents and quantities, and remaining Entries are disclosed on its page and updated as Draws occur.
Every Draw awards a prize listed in the Pool; there are no empty Draws that award nothing.
The probability of obtaining each prize depends on the composition of remaining Entries and changes as other Users draw. Probabilities and quantities shown on a Pool page reflect the system at that moment. Other Users' Draws may change the remaining Entries between submission and completion, and results are determined by the Pool's state when the system actually processes the Draw.
The Company guarantees that the listed prizes exist and their quantities match. It will not change a Pool's prize composition after listing, except where adjustments are necessary due to law, defective prizes or force majeure, in which case it will announce the adjustment and offer reasonable compensation arrangements to affected Users.
Card market prices, grading and reference values are provided for reference only and do not constitute a Company guarantee of value.
Article 12 (Execution and Finality of Draws) - Important
A Draw instruction cannot be canceled, changed or withdrawn once submitted by the User and accepted by the system.
Draw results become final when system processing is completed, and consumed Points are not returned. Users expressly understand and agree that a Draw is an online service completed upon provision. Under the proviso to Article 19, paragraph 1 of Taiwan's Consumer Protection Act and Article 2, subparagraph 5 of the "Regulations on Reasonable Matters as Exceptions to Rescind the Distance Sales," Users who consent in advance may not claim the seven-day right to rescind a distance transaction after the Service is provided.
Users may not seek cancellation, return of Points or refunds on the following grounds:
Dissatisfaction with the result or failure to obtain the desired prize;
Mistaken operation or accidental taps (the Service provides a confirmation step before a Draw);
Changes in card market prices after a Draw;
Changes in remaining Entries between submission and completion.
If system failures or programming errors cause improper execution or abnormal result displays, the Company may restore the correct position after verification, by returning Points or redistributing prizes according to the correct result. Users may not claim rights based on an abnormal result displayed because of such a failure.
The Company adopts reasonable technical and management measures for Draw randomness. Users questioning a particular result may contact support within 7 days after it becomes final. The Company will provide the information necessary to verify that Draw.
Article 13 (Last Prize)
Where a Pool offers a Last Prize, it is awarded to the User who draws its last Entry.
Entitlement is determined by the Company's system records. If a Pool closes or is delisted early, the Last Prize is handled under the Specific Rules announced by the Company.
Article 14 (Recycling / Melting)
Users may convert Collection cards into Reward Points at the recycling rates announced by the Service. Each card's recycling value is the value displayed when Recycling is executed.
Once a Recycling instruction is confirmed and submitted, it cannot be canceled or reversed, and the right to request shipment of that card is extinguished.
Cards requested for shipment, already shipped or announced as ineligible cannot be recycled.
The Company sets and may adjust recycling rates. Adjustments do not affect Recycling completed beforehand.
Article 15 (Card Specifications)
The Company is responsible for the authenticity of Pool prizes. Physical Cards are confirmed as genuine by the Company or its partners.
Card editions, languages and condition grades follow the Pool page's description. Unless described as new and unused, cards may have natural minor differences arising during manufacturing or circulation, such as printing texture, whitening on edges or minor scratches. Differences consistent with the stated condition are not defects.
For cards graded by third parties such as PSA or BGS, the grading institution's grade and encapsulation govern. The Company is not responsible for the market's valuation of the grading result.
Chapter 5 Storage and Delivery of Physical Cards
Article 16 (Storage and Shipment Requests)
The Company stores awarded Physical Cards in the Collection free of charge. Users may request shipment or Recycling during the storage period.
The storage period is 90 days from the card's entry into the Collection. If shipment is not requested by the deadline, the User is deemed to have chosen Recycling. The system will automatically convert the card into Reward Points at the then-announced rate, and the right to claim the Physical Card is extinguished. The Company will remind Users by in-service notice or email before the deadline.
Shipment requests cannot be canceled after confirmation, and cards requested for shipment cannot be recycled.
Article 17 (Delivery Methods, Areas and Fees)
Delivery covers Taiwan's main island and offshore islands, subject to the carrier's service coverage. Overseas delivery, if offered, follows separate Company announcements.
Delivery is handled by a carrier designated by the Company, currently President Transnet Corp. (Black Cat TA-Q-BIN; 統一速達股份有限公司/黑貓宅急便). The Company may add or change carriers as operationally necessary. Users cannot designate a particular carrier.
Shipping is free when a single shipment contains 5 or more cards. For fewer than 5 cards, shipping fees are charged at the amount displayed on the shipment request page. The Company may offer other free-shipping promotions, as displayed on that page.
Orders are shipped within 2 business days after the shipment request is confirmed, excluding regular holidays and Taiwan public holidays. Long holidays, peak seasons or force majeure may extend this period; the Company will announce any extension.
The Company will provide tracking information after shipment.
Article 18 (Recipient Information and Failed Delivery)
Users must ensure the recipient's name, address and phone number are correct. If delivery fails due to incorrect information, refusal, an expired collection period or prolonged absence, and the card is returned to the Company, the User may request reshipment within 30 days and must pay the reshipping fee. If no request is made in time, the card will be converted into Reward Points under Article 16, paragraph 2.
Delivery is complete when the card reaches the designated address or is collected at the User's designated pickup point. The risk of loss or damage then passes to the User.
Article 19 (Defects and Incorrect Shipments)
If any of the following occurs, Users must contact support with photographs within 7 days after receiving the card:
The delivered card does not match the Draw result;
The card has damage or missing components clearly inconsistent with its stated condition;
The card was damaged during transport.
If confirmed by the Company, it will either send the correct card, replace it with an equivalent item, or return Points based on the Points consumed to draw that card or its announced recycling value. The Company may decline requests made late or where a defect cannot be verified as existing before delivery.
Except for the preceding two paragraphs, delivered cards are not eligible for return, refund or exchange. Users have agreed that Draw results become final upon completion of system processing (Article 12). Shipment of Physical Cards fulfills that finalized result and is not a separate offer of sale.
Chapter 6 Rules of Use
Article 20 (Prohibited Conduct)
Users must not:
Violate laws, public order, good morals or these Terms;
Provide false registration information, impersonate others or register or operate multiple Accounts;
Transfer, lend, rent or sell Accounts, Points, Draw results or related rights to third parties, or offer or advertise such transactions (real-money trading, or RMT, is prohibited);
Access or operate the Service through plug-ins, bots, automation, crawlers or methods not provided by the Company;
Reverse engineer, decompile or crack the Service, or interfere with or damage the normal operation of its systems and servers;
Exploit system errors, vulnerabilities or clearly abnormal prices or rates for gain, or continue doing so while knowing they are erroneous;
Abuse Point purchasing, Draws or Recycling for arbitrage, including repeated transactions exploiting abnormal differences between recycling rates and selling prices;
Initiate credit card chargebacks or payment reversals without a valid reason;
Harass, threaten, defame or discriminate against Company personnel or other Users, or make excessive complaints beyond generally accepted social standards;
Infringe the intellectual property, image, privacy or other rights of the Company or third parties;
Engage in money laundering, fraud, gambling-related intermediation or other unlawful conduct through the Service, or purchase Points with unlawfully sourced funds, including virtual assets;
Collect other Users' personal data;
Impersonate the Company or disseminate false information about the Service;
Conduct religious solicitation or multi-level marketing, or conduct commercial promotion without the Company's consent;
Or engage in other conduct reasonably deemed inappropriate by the Company.
Depending on the circumstances, the Company may issue warnings, restrict features, confiscate improperly obtained benefits, suspend access or delete Accounts, and may seek damages. It may report unlawful conduct to the competent authorities or judicial bodies.
Article 21 (Intellectual Property)
Intellectual property rights in the Service's software, interfaces, text, images, trademarks, marks and other content belong to the Company or its licensors. Reproduction, adaptation, distribution, public transmission or other use requires prior written consent.
Rights in displayed card images, names and related characters belong to the respective rights holders, such as game or animation copyright owners and card publishers. The Company uses them reasonably for selling physical products. Unless otherwise stated, unravel has no sponsorship, co-branding or licensing relationship with those rights holders.
Users grant the Company a royalty-free license to use content they publish within the Service, such as nicknames, avatars and comments, to the extent necessary to operate and promote the Service.
Article 22 (Advertising and Third-Party Links)
The Service may contain third-party advertising or links. Users and those third parties are responsible for their transactions and interactions. The Company is not responsible for the accuracy of that content or resulting losses.
Chapter 7 Service Changes, Disclaimers and Other Provisions
Article 23 (Changes and Interruptions)
The Company may suspend or interrupt all or part of the Service for maintenance, updates, troubleshooting, force majeure or other operational needs. If foreseeable, it will announce this in advance.
The Company may change the Service's content, features or specifications, and add, adjust or delist Pools.
The Company is not liable for losses arising from the preceding two paragraphs, except where caused by its intent or gross negligence.
Article 24 (User Termination)
Users may stop using the Service and request Account deletion at any time under Article 6, paragraph 3.
Article 25 (Service Termination)
The Company may terminate the entire Service with at least 30 days' prior announcement and notice.
On termination, the Company will refund unused Purchased Points proportionally to the amount actually paid or offer arrangements of equivalent value. Reward Points are not compensated. A reasonable period will be provided to request shipment of Collection cards.
Article 26 (Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability)
The Service is provided as-is. The Company does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service or suitability for a User's particular purpose.
The Company is not liable for losses arising from the following, except where caused by its intent or negligence:
Natural disasters, power failures, network interruptions, or failures or suspension of third-party services, including payments, stablecoin payments, blockchain networks, logistics, cloud services and app stores;
The User's equipment, network environment or operation;
Unauthorized Account use by third parties (Article 5);
Changes in card market prices or stablecoin exchange rates.
Where the Company is legally liable for compensation, except for intent or gross negligence, total compensation is capped at the amount the User paid to the Company during the 3 months counting back from the month the loss occurred.
If a provision conflicts with the Consumer Protection Act or other mandatory rules, the law governs that part and the remaining provisions remain fully effective.
Article 27 (Personal Data)
The Company's collection, processing and use of personal data follow its Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Article 28 (Notices)
The Company may notify Users by in-service notice, registered email, mobile text message or announcement on the Service website. Notice takes effect when sent or published.
Users must notify the Company through the Service's support channels: support@unravel.cards or the Contact Us page.
Article 29 (Assignment)
Users may not assign rights or obligations under these Terms to third parties without the Company's prior written consent.
If the Company transfers the Service through a merger, division or business transfer, it may transfer its contractual position and User data to the successor, and Users agree to this.
Article 30 (Severability)
If all or part of a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the other provisions remain effective.
Article 31 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms are interpreted and applied under the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
The parties agree that disputes arising from these Terms or the Service are subject to the first-instance jurisdiction of the Taiwan Taipei District Court, except where laws specify exclusive jurisdiction or small-claims jurisdiction.
