Getting the most out of unravel points: tier bonuses, the 10-draw discount, melt bonuses, and expiry explained

1 point equals NT$0.5. Six tiers run from NT$1,000 to NT$50,000, and the more you top up, the more bonus points you get. A 10-draw on a slot-based pool costs 5% less than 10 single draws. Melting a card you don't want within 24 hours gets you 10% more points. This guide walks through the actual numbers, plus point expiry, the October newcomer offer, and when topping up more isn't actually worth it.

The short version

1 point on unravel equals NT$0.5, and you spend points on draws and livestream orders alike. To get the most out of it, remember three things: pick a tier with a good bonus, but don't top up more than you'll actually use just to chase the bonus; use 10-draw on slot-based pools for a 5% discount per draw; and melt cards you don't want within 24 hours for 10% more points. This service is 18+ only.

How points convert

NT$1 gets you 2 points, so 1 point equals NT$0.5. Each pool has its own single-draw price, shown on the pool page, and each pack's point cost in the livestream is shown in the panel.

Points can only be used on the site. They can't be transferred to anyone else or converted back to cash. Think about roughly how much you'll draw this month before you top up.

Six tiers and their bonuses

The top-up page has six tiers, and the more you put in, the bigger the bonus. NT$1,000 gets you 2,000 points, no bonus. NT$2,000 gets you 4,120 points, 120 extra, or 3% more. NT$5,000 gets you 10,800 points, 800 extra, 8%. NT$10,000 gets you 22,400 points, 2,400 extra, 12%. NT$20,000 gets you 46,400 points, 6,400 extra, 16%. NT$50,000 gets you 120,000 points, 20,000 extra, 20%. Go by whatever numbers the top-up page shows at the time.

How to choose: figure out how many points you'll use this month, then pick the tier that just about covers it. A bigger bonus is a nice extra, not a reason to jump up a tier, because points have an expiry date, covered below.

October newcomer offer (limited time)

There's a newcomer offer this October: from the evening of October 5 through October 31, your first credit card top-up of NT$1,000 or more gets an extra 1,000 points if you're among the first 300. It ends early if the spots run out. You need to link LINE before you top up. If you forget, linking within 24 hours after payment still counts. Remaining spots are shown on the top-up page.

Here's the math: a first top-up at the lowest tier, NT$1,000, normally gets you 2,000 points. If you're in the first 300, add 1,000 more for 3,000 points total. Only your account's first qualifying top-up counts, and stablecoin payments don't qualify. The bonus is a flat 1,000 points no matter how much you top up, so there's no reason to move up a tier for it.

10-draw: 5% off

On a slot-based pool, choosing 10 draws costs the single-draw price times 10, then 5% off. For example, if a single draw costs 400 points, a 10-draw costs 3,800 points, not 4,000.

Two things to be clear about. First, the 10-draw only makes the price 5% cheaper per draw. It doesn't change your odds. Since slot-based pools have no replacement, a 10-draw just pulls 10 slots in a row, and each slot faces the same pool as a single draw would. Second, fixed-odds pools like Daily Draw don't have a 10-draw discount, and the pool page will say so.

Melting: turn cards you don't want into reward points

Cards you draw go into your vault. Request shipping for what you want to keep, and melt the rest into reward points to keep drawing. The points you get from melting are based on market price and a recovery rate. Select a card in your vault and it shows exactly how many points you'll get, and that's the number you get.

Three rules about melting. First, melt a card within 24 hours of drawing it for 10% more points, and your vault shows how much time is left. Second, you can turn on auto-melt: any card worth less than NT$175 in market value gets converted to points automatically as soon as you draw it, with the same 10% bonus, so you don't have to click through them one by one. Third, the Daily Draw page states a floor: you get at least 40 points back even for the lowest-tier card.

Melting a card is final and can't be undone, and that card can no longer be shipped. Points from melting are reward points, and they have a different expiry from purchased points, covered next.

Expiry: how much to top up depends on how fast you'll use it

Purchased points are valid for 1 year from the day they're issued. Top up again before they expire, and the expiry for all purchased points in your account resets from that new top-up. Reward points, from melting or promotions, are valid for 180 days, unless a specific promotion states otherwise.

Points closest to expiring get spent first. You'll get a site notification or email 30 days before any points expire. So the real risk of topping up a lot at once and sitting on it isn't the bonus, it's expiry: top up an amount you'll actually use within six months to a year.

Shipping and storage are part of the cost too

Physical cards you draw are stored free by unravel for 90 days. If you haven't requested shipping within those 90 days, the system automatically melts the card into reward points at the recovery rate in effect at the time. Remember to request shipping within the window for anything you want to keep.

Once a shipping request is confirmed, it ships within 2 business days. Shipping is free with 5 live Hit cards or NT$1,000 in total card value; otherwise, the shipping request page's fee applies. White-card stacks and live Pikachu cards do not count as Hits, and unpriced cards add NT$0 in value.

Three worked examples

Example one: top up NT$2,000 for 4,120 points. A 10-draw on a pool with a 400-point single draw costs 3,800 points, leaving 320 points.

Example two: your 10-draw includes three small cards you don't want, quoted at 60, 80, and 100 points in your vault. Melting within 24 hours for the 10% bonus gets you 264 points back. Add the 320 points left over, and you have 584 points to keep drawing.

Example three: your first top-up during the promotion is NT$1,000, and you're in the first 300, so you get 2,000 plus 2,000 for 4,000 points total. These numbers are illustrative; go by what the pool page and your vault actually show.

When topping up more isn't worth it

First, topping up NT$50,000 for the 20% bonus and then not using it within a year. Expired points aren't refunded. Second, treating melting as a way to cash out: reward points can only be used for draws, not withdrawn. Third, buying more and more when a livestream gets exciting, past what you originally budgeted.

Draws are random. Treat it as the fun of buying cards, set a budget first, and following the three points above is enough for how you use points.

Frequently asked questions

Can points be refunded or converted to cash?

No. Points can only be used for draws and livestream orders on the site. They can't be transferred or converted back to cash. Think about how much you'll use before you top up.

How long after topping up do points show up?

Points are credited as soon as a credit card payment completes. Stablecoin payments wait for on-chain confirmation, usually 1 to 3 minutes.

Does every pool have the 10-draw discount?

Slot-based pools do. Fixed-odds pools like Daily Draw don't have a 10-draw discount, and the pool page states this clearly.

How are points from melting different from points I top up?

Points from melting are reward points, valid for 180 days. Points you buy are purchased points, valid for 1 year. Both work for draws, and whichever expires sooner gets spent first.

How does the 1-year expiry for purchased points work?

It's 1 year from the day the points are issued. Top up again before they expire, and the expiry for all purchased points in your account resets from that day. You'll get a reminder 30 days before they expire.

How does the October newcomer offer work?

Before October 31, your first credit card top-up of NT$1,000 or more gets an extra 1,000 points if you're among the first 300, once per account. Stablecoin payments don't count. Link LINE before you top up; if you forget, linking within 24 hours after payment still counts. It ends early if the spots run out.

How does the free shipping threshold work?

Shipping is free when one shipment contains 5 live Hit cards or its total card value reaches NT$1,000. Otherwise, the fee shown on the shipping request page applies. White-card stacks and live Pikachu cards are not Hits; unpriced cards count as NT$0.
